Raleigh Wisp

The Wisp was the concept of Yvonne Rix at Raleigh and it was launched in 1983. According to one website it sold 50,000 in the first year. There seem to be quite a few on eBay, all in the same two-tone blue and many in quite original condition. Mine seems unusual in having a flat bar rather than racing-style handlebars.

I’ve listed below as many features of the bicycle as I can and indicated what I have changed

Accessories Soubitez generator, front & rear lamps; ESGE Pletscher aluminium kickstand; rear rack with black elastic strap; bicycle pump (missing). Raleigh bell with brown bell pull.
Brake & gear cables Original clear cables. Replaced with VeloOrange transparent braid.
